Hangman solver
A hangman solver fills in missing letters. Type the pattern with ? or _ for each unknown square — “_A__E” or “?A??E”. Same engine as the word solver and crossword solver; this URL is the hangman query.
Try ?A??E or C?O??. Add Exclude for letters already guessed wrong. Related: Wordle helper for greens and yellows.
Use ? for a blank tile. Words appear as you type.

Solve hangman with a pattern
Hangman, crossword blanks and “word solver with blanks” are the same matching job: known letters in place, unknowns as wildcards. Rivals keep a hangman URL. Underscores are accepted and turned into question marks as you type.
Length is the number of characters you type, including blanks. A five-character mask only returns five-letter ENABLE words. Add Starts with / Ends with if you know more than the mask shows.
This is not a cheating app that plays hangman for you against a server. The dictionary is ENABLE in the browser. Related: crossword solver and word solver.
FAQ
How do I use a hangman solver?
Type the word as you know it. Put ? or _ on each blank. ?A??E matches every five-letter ENABLE word with A in the second place and E at the end.
What about letters I already guessed wrong?
Put them in Exclude (under More options). Those letters will not appear in the results.
Hangman vs Wordle helper?
Hangman is a pattern of known vs unknown squares. Wordle has greens, yellows and greys. Use the Wordle helper for that.
