What we collect

The unscrambler runs in your browser. The letters you type are not sent to us. We do not run accounts, newsletters or login.

Our host (Cloudflare) may process technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and requested URL to deliver and secure the site. Those logs are processed as a service provider.

Cookies and ads

Essential cookies: none required to use the unscrambler. Optional analytics: if you click Accept on the cookie bar, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VR1EE3K51N). That can include a truncated IP, device/browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location. Legal basis: consent. You can Reject, and you can clear site data in your browser to be asked again. We do not currently run advertising cookies. If we add Google AdSense later, we will ask for separate advertising consent.

Legal bases

Hosting and security logs: legitimate interests in running a safe website. Analytics: consent. Future ads: consent where UK law requires it.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and you may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Because we do not hold accounts, there is usually no personal profile to delete.
