Word generator
A word generator builds words from a set of letters you are allowed to use — and letters may be reused. That is the opposite of a Scrabble rack (one copy of each tile). It is how Spelling Bee, some homework “make words from A E I O U”, and “words using only these letters” work.
Try AEIOU or AEINRST. Tap Random word for a worksheet seed. For a bag of tiles with no reuse, use the word maker. For a 7-letter hive with a center, use the Spelling Bee helper.

Generate words from a letter set
Word.tips and WordUnscrambler.net both ship a word generator as well as an unscrambler. The missing feature on most unscramblers is reuse: “any of the letters can be used as many times as necessary”. This page is that tool.
Type the allowed alphabet. Every ENABLE word of 3+ letters whose letters all sit in that set is listed. Pangrams (using every letter you typed at least once) are marked. Random word picks a seed of the selected length.

Word generator vs word unscrambler?
An unscrambler uses each tile at most once (a bag). A word generator reuses letters from the set. RATES on this page makes TREATS and STARTERS because T and S may be reused.
Can I generate a random English word?
Yes. Pick a length chip, then tap Random word. The box fills with a random ENABLE word of that length.
Does this use the Scrabble dictionary?
ENABLE, a public-domain list of about 168,000 words. Not TWL or Collins.
