This word unscrambler checks your letters against the ENABLE English word list in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server. A match is any word whose letters can be formed from your rack, including shorter words — the same way a Scrabble rack works.

We use the public-domain ENABLE list (~168,000 words), not the copyrighted NASPA TWL or Collins CSW lists. Tournament play may differ by a few words (QI and ZA are in ENABLE).

What is a word unscrambler?
A word unscrambler takes a set of letters and lists every valid English word you can form from them, including shorter words. Use it for Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordle, jumbles and crossword patterns. This site checks the ENABLE list (~168,000 words) in your browser and scores plays with Scrabble or Words With Friends points.
Is this free?
Yes. No account, no install. The solver stays free. Ads may be added later; they will never block results.
Can I use it for Wordle?
Yes. Switch to Wordle mode, type greens in the five boxes, put yellows in the letters field, and grey letters in Exclude. You can also browse all 5-letter words.
How do blank tiles work?
Type ? for each blank (max two), or tap Add blank ?. The solver tries every letter in that slot — the same as a Scrabble blank.
How do I find the highest scoring word?
Results sort by Scrabble points by default. Bingos (using every tile, 7+ letters) are marked. Switch Score to WWF if you play Words With Friends.
Anagram vs unscrambler?
Unscrambler lists every word you can make, including shorter ones. Anagrams only keep words that use every letter — LISTEN → SILENT, ENLIST, TINSEL.
